This 40SH21 sprocket is a durable, high quality, and precision sprocket with hardened teeth that is manufactured to accept a SH bushing. Sprockets that have hardened teeth last longer, perform better, and are much more durable than those that don’t. Something else that is notable about this sprocket is that it fully meets all ANSI Standards, which insures proper contact between the #40 roller chain and sprocket to prevent premature wear or breakage. This sprocket is also black oxide coated thus increasing resistance to the environment and will prevent early corrosion. 40SH21 sprockets are manufactured to accept a SH type QD bushing which, we also stock with a wide range of bore sizes.
